36th Alice Prize - A National Contemporary Art Award

Johnny Yungut Tjupurrula, Makinti Napanangka and Yinarupa Nangala were invited to exhibit in the 36th Alice Prize. The Alice Prize is $20,000 acquisitive art prize which this year was judged by art advisor and previous director of the Art Gallery of Western Australia Alan R Dodge AM. Kiwirrkura artist Yinarupa Nangala received an Honorable Mention, for her painting depicting ceremonies at the site of Mukula, in WA.
